Before telling you about Mysteria, let me tell you about who you are. You have a Kindle, or a TiVo, or an MP3 player, or perhaps all three. You like digital media. You want it all now — but it’s not all digital (yet)!
| Video | Maybe you’re a connoisseur of old movies, and you’re waiting for them to be converted to digital downloads. Or maybe you’re interested in getting your favorite new TV series, but it’s not available for on-demand download yet. But you’d like to know when it’s available. |
| You’ve got more albums on your iPod and on your computer than you can count. We’re talking weeks of uninterrupted listening before you hear the same song twice. But your collection’s not complete. There’s a song from years ago you want to hear, but you can’t even find it on a CD. | Music |
| Books | You’ve bought an Amazon Kindle for a price tag that made you wince — but where are your favorite books?! When will they become available? You’ve heard that Jeff Bezos wants to digitize every piece of paper that was ever written on, but what about the books you want to read? |
We’re living in the midst of a digital revolution, a digital whirlwind ... but it takes time to digitize everything. It’s happening. Slowly but surely. And there’s more media now available in digital form than ever before, but of course, there’s still an enormous amount of media that isn’t available yet. You’ve been told it will all become available one day ... but when?
Let me introduce you to Mysteria:
![]() | She’s your obsessive, obsequious librarian for all your digital stuff. |
![]() | She’s all about what you like to read, watch, and listen to. |
![]() | She’s smart, compulsive, thorough — and she wants to help you. |
![]() | And she never misses a damn thing. |
Mysteria will listen to what you say you like. And then she’ll start looking for it. Every day. Not only is she constantly on-call, but she constantly works in the background. While you go on with your life, she’s searching & searching & searching for what you told her to look for — because honestly, do you really have the time to keep going to Amazon to see if The Magic Mountain is finally in Kindle format, or perhaps the best-seller you just heard about? How much longer before a Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode can be downloaded? And look, you’d be happy to discover music tracks for the Ink Spots, even though you’d never admit to being a 1930s music buff....
All you have to do is search for media you want Mysteria to watch out for. If you find something for her to watch, click on it. She’ll add it to your watch list, and she’ll send you an email the instant she finds it online in digital form. Signup is simple: you just enter your email address. There are no fees, no credit cards, no persnickety forms to fill out. Mysteria will only send you emails if she finds something — you’ll see how easy it is. And you can always opt out.
Mysteria’s website will show you your watch list, and you can add stuff to watch anytime, or delete things you’re no longer interested in.
Right now, Mysteria only monitors the Amazon.com store. But if she gets enough interest from you, she’ll start looking at other stores. So give Mysteria a whirl, see if you like this — it is a digital whirlwind, after all!
Mysteria will automatically retrieve any books, music, or videos in your Amazon.com Wishlist and monitor the Amazon store to see if any of these items become available in digital format. All you have to do is sign in to Mysteria with the same email you use when signing in to Amazon — that’s it! Easy! You should see your Amazon wishlist items on your Mysteria list in under 10 minutes, often sooner!
If your Amazon Wishlist is public, there is nothing more you need to do; by default, an Amazon wishlist is public. However, your wishlist may be private, in which case Mysteria will not be able to find any of your books, music, or videos. You can make your Wishlist public by following these easy steps:

Still don't see your Amazoncom Wishlist items in your Mysteria list?
